The Wholly Story I have written songs that seem to come almost instantly, others take days, even months but only one song in my life has taken twenty years to write. 'Love Has Found Me'…is that song and it began as more of a wish than a realization. Looking back I can see that most of my life I have longed to be given over utterly, completely, unashamedly, to something, to someone, a higher purpose, a good and faithful love. It was in the search for true intimacy that I found you or rather you found me. It was in you that I realized the acceptance of my acceptance… someone worthy of wholly. The Unexpected Story
I was living in my 10' by 10' office in Westwood Village when the unexpected happened. I received a call and within days I went from my very humble surroundings to residing in a 7,000 square foot mansion high in the hills above Los Angeles. The Simplicity Story
I once idolized James Bond. I wanted to be illusive, mysterious, sophisticated, a romantic, an object of female desire, to keep my heart well hidden. Not that I wanted Bond's job, just the trappings of 'success' and the emotional anonymity of a 'secret' agent. At the same time I was conflicted...I sensed that I was created for a different purpose. I traced it back to years earlier, when a simple act of faith, a very innocent 'yes I believe' |
